Editor: At a time when it seems many companies want to distance themselves from anything Jewish, and are even actively boycotting products that might connect them to anything Jewish, the new Dan-D Market at Oak Street and 67th Avenue in Vancouver displays a very large sign in their window declaring "BCK kosher products available."

Dan-D Foods has great selection of kosher products and my husband spoke to an employee at the store who told him that Dan-D Foods was planning on making even more of their products kosher.

I believe we should make a point of supporting those stores who not only go out of their way to make their products kosher, but proudly advertise that fact to everyone passing by. Next time you're in the neighborhood, pop in to the Dan-D Market and say "thanks."
