Celebrating 80 years ...Queen Elizabeth II pic from 1953

A special Coronation section of the Jewish Western Bulletin ran on May 28, 1953. Synagogues included prayers for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in their services, Jewish veterans saluted the new queen in a half-page ad supported by several individuals and businesses, Jewish organizations took out paid greetings in the paper and a long article described how Jews throughout the Commonwealth were celebrating.
