Stand by your opinions
Editorial
Thanks are due to the anonymous person or persons who have, on
an increasingly regular basis, dropped conspiracy material through
the front door of the Bulletin's office building.
At first, we wondered how some of these obviously front-page news
stories had escaped our attention. Then we read some of the material
and understood: Israel, America and "the Jews" limit what
we are allowed to learn about international events like 9/11. (Guess
whose fault that is?)
But not all of the material is nonsense. Some contains fair comment,
which the Bulletin is fully prepared to publish and
has, on many occasions, when the authors have signed their names.
We will even withhold the author's name on request, in appropriate
circumstances, as long as we know who the author is.
Anonymity does not add a lot of gravity to one's argument. If you
don't have the character to stand behind your opinions, we're certainly
not going to add credence by publishing (or even reading) them.
Our Letters and Opinion pages are open to a wide range of commentary,
as regular readers are keenly aware. Let's keep the lines of communication
open: Sign your name and leave a contact number.
