Editor: The Vancouver Sun's Saturday, Jan. 31, issue carried the reported prayer of Sheik Saleh al-Taleb to 500,000 people in Mecca's Grand Mosque. The subhead reads "Saleh al-Taheb says 'criminal Zionists' must be attacked." [The portion of the sheik's sermon quoted in the Sun article is, "Oh God, give victory to the mujahadeen (holy warriors).... Give them victory in Palestine. Oh God, make the Muslims triumphant and destroy their enemies, and make this country and other Muslim countries safe. Oh God, inflict your wrath on the criminal Zionists."]

In response to this article, with the help of God, and commitment on my part, I pray now especially due to this report, for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to defend and strengthen all the Zionists, all the Jewish people and Israel. May God bless, enrich, strengthen and defend Israel and its right to exist and its rights and sovereignty over all the land of Israel. And may the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem never be taken away nor divided from the Jewish peoples of the Earth.

God bless Israel. Your prophets have said, "... more are for us than against us...." I would like to add that there are more non-Islamic fundamentalists in the world than fundamental Muslims. Now is our opportunity to support Israel with our prayers and good deeds.
