December 20, 2002 Open your eyes to the real worldLettersEditor: I did not agree with Max Jacobson's letter either. ("A
war of attrition," Bulletin, Dec. 6) However, Carl Rosenberg
asks, "How would JWB readers react to a similar letter
in the opposite direction, characterizing all Israelis rather than
Palestinians as 'enemies,' regardless of age, sex, etc., to whom
concepts of compassion and tolerance must not apply?" Well,
Mr. Rosenberg, we don't need any such letters to the JWB.
In case you hadn't noticed, this has been the reality of our world
for at least the last two years.
