Hadassah-WIZO needs sorting space
Letters
Editor: Vancouver Hadassah-WIZO's 51st bazaar has come and gone,
and we are very proud of having carried on for so many years despite
mounting expenses. But, the time has come for us to make a change
due to the exorbitant costs. We are in need of a space to sort through
donated items year-round. We have looked around and inquired about
pricing, enough to realize that, as a charity organization, it is
not within our budget to maintain such a space. We do not want to
end our bazaar and the services it provides to so many people in
the Lower Mainland, therefore, we are appealing to the community
to help us carry on the "tradition." If there is anyone
who could suggest a location or provide a space at a reduced rate,
it would be much appreciated.
We have always valued the community's support at our bazaar and
we look forward to many more successful bazaars.
