Program funds available

The Women's Endowment Fund, a designated endowment fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Vancouver, is pleased to announce its third round of grants in support of programs that directly benefit or are of great importance to women in the Jewish community.

For consideration are grants that fund projects addressing concerns in such areas as health, social service, religion, leadership, arts and education. Grants may be awarded locally or globally, with preference given to projects that have Jewish content. Partnerships between agencies or between individuals and agencies are welcomed, but grants can be awarded only to registered charities. The maximum award to an applicant will not exceed $1,000.

The grant application form can be downloaded from www.vancouverjewishfoundation.com. Click on Women's Endowment Fund. Hard copies can be obtained from the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver office, 200-950 West 41st Ave. The deadline is Jan. 17, 2003, for submitting completed hardcopy application forms.

For more information, call Glenda Saitowitz at 604-257-5100.
